STEM Building Challenges
During recent coed (2/8) and design/engineering (1/31 & 2/4) classes, students engaged with open-ended building challenges using familiar materials. Students rotated freely from one activity to another as they completed challenges. With Cups & Towers, they had to problem solve building a sturdy base to support the weight of their tower while at the same time balancing the cups. Legos Challenge Cards allowed for creativity as students worked toward a stated goal. Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Feldman joined us on January 31st.
