Many wonderful things are in store for 1st grade girls in Spanish for 2018! They will begin to identify, say, read, and write very simple Spanish words that are part of the games, songs, stories, and activities planned for the fall and winter months. The girls will continue to build their comprehension and pronunciation of Spanish through TPR (Total Physical Response - a kind of body sign language methodology), interactive listening and participation, art, dance, singing, and make believe. We will explore greetings, numbers, nature, animals, feelings, foods, home and school life and multicultural traditions in the Spanish speaking world.
