June 5 Writing Workshop Celebration! 7:55-8:15 AM at Morning Drop Off

In May, our final Writing Workshop unit focused on writing fiction. Girls revisited strategies for bringing characters to life and adding depth through writing chapters. They have continued to edit their work for punctuation, capitalization, and spelling of grade level words. Please come in to read their fun stories!

SUMMER READING & WRITING

 Your daughter's RazKids account is open through the 

 summer months and September until the second grade

 teachers transfer reading accounts. Please look for a 

 copy of this Reading Bingo in your child's end-of-the-
 year folder next week on June 5th. 

MATH MINUTES

Numbers are all around! During the summer months, be sure to refresh math skills with fun activities such as cooking (recipes for both measurement and time - how long will it take to cook/bake), counting change when shopping, keeping track of time, etc.
